Are there any side effects triggered by taking Acai berry?

As with all new health foods and supplements there is often great concern about potential side effects. Acai berry is an all natural product consisting of the concentrated extract of a fruit from a Brazilian palm tree. Acai berries have been found to have one particular acay berry side effect. Eaten in great enough quantities they reduce the appetite, and as such they have found a place amongst the most impressive natural dieting supplements available on the market. The use of Acai berries was originally limited to people who often took other supplements, they are a natural source of antioxidants and detoxifying proteins which strip away many of the toxins from the body and replace vitamins and minerals. It was also found that they had a side effect of reducing appetite and increasing metabolism, thus making them a perfect dieting supplement.

The use of Acai berry has been on the rise for a number of years and there have been no other reported side effects, the berries are a natural product and as such could be at risk from allergy reactions by some, but there has not been a single case of this side effect. Acai berries are amongst the safest type of supplements and have a massive impact on the health and well being of the people who take the supplement. As such the one side effect of reduced appetite is often a welcome side effect, so much so that Acai berry supplements have been recommended by doctors and nutritional experts as a diet aid.

Making Monday Morning Easier

The alarm goes off. You slowly open your eyes and you groan. Just 15 minutes more sleep you think as your head hits the pillow and then you remember it is Monday morning. Where did the weekend go and why am I so tired? Then you pull your tired body out of bed and think “I should feel better than this after a night’s sleep”. Is this scenario familiar?

It used to be for me but now I actually like Monday mornings. It took a while before I got to the point where I could say that. I tried a number of different things because I knew there had to be an answer out there somewhere. First was exercise which did in fact help some although I woke up sore many mornings. Then I tried eating a bigger breakfast which helped more throughout the morning but still didn’t launch me out of bed. Supplements! That had to be the answer. After trying vitamins and minerals and other substances I did land on one that really made a difference. It came in a really unique green glass bottle with a picture of a man on a beach blowing a conch. It is called TAHITIAN NONI® Juice and made from a funny looking fruit called Noni fruit from Tahiti.

The first thing I discovered was I wasn’t dragging through the day. After the first week I actually had energy! Then I stopped drinking it to see if it was TAHITIAN NONI® Juice making me feel this way or my imagination. Sure enough my energy started running out again.

The next thing I found was that I wasn’t getting sick as often. While those around me were getting sick, it just passed me by. I found out later its because TAHITIAN NONI® Juice boosts the immune system. Needless to say it’s a keeper for me. The best thing is I can greet every Monday morning feeling good.

Acai Cleanse Diet

The acai berry, frequently referred to as the latest “superfood”, is receiving lots of attention for its high free-radical-fighting antioxidant properties as well as numerous other vitamins and nutrients. The list of probable health benefits derived from consuming such an antioxidant-rich food spans a wide array of possibilities: everything from preventing damage that can contribute to heart disease and cancer, to minimizing macular degeneration and the appearance of aging.

The build-up of free radicals over time is thought to contribute to these health problems, therefore it is believed that taking acai berries serves as a detox treatment. Often referred to as an acai berry cleansing, the berries cleanse your body of the damage-causing attackers and essentially replaces them with valuable vitamins and minerals as well as amino acids which serve as building blocks for healthy new cells and tissues.

As an extra and more immediately noticeable health bonus, those amino acids are also vital for energy, and the berries’ high protein content and overall nutritional value, including being rich in omega 3 & 6 fatty acids which help your metabolism, all combine to make it a wonderful weight loss and athletic training supplement.

Acai berries happen to be a perishable fruit and tend to spoil shortly after being harvested in the Amazons. All this means is that getting fresh Acai berries in America isn’t possible as they spoil before they reach the United States. This is the primary reason that these fruits are usually freeze dried before they are shipped to be made into powdered supplements. This way they retain the most potent percentage of their original nutritional value.
