Romantic Hotels and Chocolates
Imagine surprising your partner with a short hotel stay, or some delivered chocolates. I don’t mean the cheap and cheerful kind, but the really luxurious kind, that spells romance in three foot high letters. The sort of surprise that really takes someone’s breath away.
There are a few top notch hotels in the Uk, but surely one of the best and most unusual is Burgh Island Hotel. I mean, it’s a whole island for goodness sake, which at high tide can only be reached by a sea tractor. The hotel was built in the 1920s, has been lovingly restored in the Art Nouveau Style, and encompasses everything glamourous about the Jazz Age.
The hotel is based in South Devon, in Bigbury Bay. There is a choice of bars and restaurants, and all food is locally sourced. The local pub, a smugglers in is reputed to be haunted, by Tom Crocker’s poltergeist. This is a superb hotel, so expect to dress for dinner (black tie) and to pay for quality. Read more about Burgh Island here.
Before setting off for your romantic stay you could have some superb quality chocolates delivered, such as those from zchocolat, an online company who provided luxurious chocolates in a wooden box, with an engraved brass plate bearing the recipient’s name. What about having them delivered to your hotel room - that would be even better. Read more about zchocolat here. zchocolat’s most prestigious gift is a wooden jewelry box, with a top tray and six drawers all filled with chocolates, and again with the brass name plate.
If neither of these appeals then you’re immune to romance! Try looking here for some cheaper ideas.

Audio Visual Installation
For most people, the procedure for audio visual installation is no more involved than taking their new plasma or LCD TV out of a massive box and plugging it into a home cinema system, clicking the “on” button and watching while the automatic setup program runs.
If you’ve bought a cheap home cinema system and TV that’s probably ok but to be reasonable to the makers, you should dedicate a bit of time to reading the installation instructions quite closely.
But who isn’t in a hurry at this moment!
Suppose however that you have purchased better quality AV kit and have an excellent quality high definition LCD or plasma display or even a projector then it is often worth getting a suitably qualified AV engineer to help you configure and set up your equipment so that you get a top quality audio and visual experience.
There is no point in owning top notch electronics and paying little attention to setting it up carefully.
Careful AV installation does matter. It makes a big difference.
AV Installers are true experts in picture and sound calibration. They can help you get the best from your equipment using specialist technical equipment of their own. But if you are after a top quality AV installation and have a reasonably substantial budget then you should consider using an AV installer to help you specify the equipment you need in the first place. The ideal system should take into account the quality of the space and acoustics of your home cinema so that you get the cinema quality AV experience you want. Large rooms with high ceilings and hard reflective surfaces need entirely different settings on your amplifier than low rooms with plush carpets and curtains.
A qualified AV technician will explain how he works without boring and baffling you with technical jargon but never forget that the ultimate judge of your AV Installation is you yourself.

Help, I need a new host
With hundreds of website hosting companies on the market it can be very difficult if not impossible to recognise which web host companies will provide a dependable hosting solution at an reasonable price. Having a domain with a good web hosting company, you will be able to get reports on your site visitors and know which of your pages your visitors are going to the most, as well as being able to check out many other statistics.
Your web host will charge you a fee for each month of services that ranges from $4.99 or $10.99. Plan to pay between $75 and $150 per year for your hosting. You could also try free web hosting services, but you may experience bouts of server downtimes and you are likely to have substantial limitations in the amount of storage, number of email addresses, FTP upload and so forth. You should just check out a site like HostingTopList.com where there are current web host rankings of the most popular web hosting companies.
Be sure the hosting company will allow e-commerce, storefronts, blogs, forums, chats and anything else you want to add onto your website. Calculate what your growth needs are and check that your web host can serve you as you grow unless you absolutely have to do it. Make sure that your bandwidth can handle it, if your website hits develop rapidly, your visitors will not have to wait for your pages to load.
Here are a few things to look for in a hosting company:
1. Top notch Customer Support: Your web hosting provider needs to be there for you 24/7 and give you instant access to the techs you need to help solve your problems. Find out how long it takes for them to respond to your problems. A good test is to call them late at night to see if you get a real live person.
2. A Sound Infrastructure: Check to make sure they do have a multi-homed network that is powered by multiple bandwidth suppliers to make sure there is redundancy. Many offer a 100% guarantee that covers its network availability or network uptime.
3. Financial Stability: If you’re running a critical operation, you can’t afford to be with a web hosting company that may have only been in business for a few months.
If you are are confused by the maze of hosts, check out the HostMonster rankings. They are my personal favorite at the moment. Good luck in searching for a reliable web host.
