The Benefits of Pilates
Most people, regardless of age and physical activity level, can benefit form Pilates exercise programs. These programs not only have amazing health benefits, but also increase self-confidence and over all well-being. Why do pilates workouts exercise programs have such amazing benefits?
First, Pilates strengthens the core of the body. It works the muscles in the back, tummy and rear end. This core affects your entire body. You will be more stable when standing, walking and sitting. You will also have better posture when your core muscles are strengthened. And, of course, a strong core results in a smooth, toned belly!
Once you have your core strengthened, it is actually more comfortable to sit properly. When your posture improves as a result of a Pilates exercise program, you will find that your back is more comfy. If your back is starting to arch, it is likely do to a compression of the spine. This is helped by Pilate’s exercises, because they lengthen the spine and encourage you to sit and stand with a straight spine. Pilates exercises create long muscles. Why is this a benefit? Because instead of working just one muscle group with your exercise, you work the entire body with just about every move. The focus is on controlling your body, not working it to death. This results in a pleasing look that is long, rather than bulked up around large muscle groups. This is a major benefit of Pilates over most other strength training exercise programs.

Physician Job Search Tips
1) Defining purpose. What you are looking for in a position? Some items to consider are: environment (rural, suburban or urban), practice set-up (group, partnership, employee, etc.), compensation plan for physician employment and rotation.
2) Preparation. Practice! Practice! Practice! Do your homework before interviewing. Anticipate possible questions concerning physician practice opportunities and write answers for each.
3) Punctuality. Not just on time, but a little early for each site and telephone interview.
4) Appearance. Arrive at the interview with a neat and clean appearance. Avoid being overly made-up. Dress conservatively and comfortably.
5) Body language. Eye contact is essential. If shaking hands, offer a firm handshake. Erect posture shows confidence. Sit down only after being offered a chair.
6) Portfolio. Plan ahead. Bring copies of necessary information (CV and references). A legal notebook for taking notes is always recommended. Formulate a list of questions to help you evaluate the opportunity.
7) Enthusiasm. Bring an absolutely positive attitude without being too familiar. Negativism is not allowed. Sell yourself. The difference between bragging and self confidence is enthusiasm.
Smile. A genuine heart warming smile can win over anyone…whether you interview for physician jobs or not.
9) Thank you. At the end of each interview, thank the interviewer for their time. Follow up with a thank you note highlighting various points discussed during the visit.
10) Use a professional recruiter. Have a professional recruiter handle the search process for you. The task can be overwhelming to organize and maintain.

Understanding About Short Term Memory In Children
Just as adults do, children often suffer from short-term memory loss and mistaken identity. Children who have low self-confidence or low self-esteem are much more apt to suffer from memory loss than other children, and also children who have audio or visual problems are also more liable to find themselves dealing with these sorts of problems.

When it comes to short term memory in children, there have actually been several different studies which have explored the relationship between short term memory skills and speech and language development. These studies have presented data from a series of individual case studies of children who suffer with developmental speech and language difficulties.
Treatment
There is no single treatment that is considered as being the cure-all for short term memory in children. Rather, as a parent you should be combining one or more of the most effective techniques to improve memory in order to help your child as much as possible.
The best way to start is to make sure that your child is active and using their brain a lot. In the technologically advanced world that we live in today, our children are spending a large amount of time on the computer, and although the computer can definitely be educational and useful, many children simply use it to chat or check their email, and these sorts of activities are not exactly improving memory.
For short term memory in children you should have them participating in games and activities that are going to stimulate and awaken their mind. From crossword and jigsaw puzzles to match and trivia games, there are many easy and enjoyable activities that you can get your children involved in to help improve their memory, and they can even do these sorts of activities on the computer if this is what they want.
It is important to remember however even with short term memory in children that it is often the sign of something much more serious. Children suffering with memory loss are often suffering from a form of dementia which has not yet been noticed either by parent or practitioner, and so if you notice that your child is starting to have difficulties to remember that name and things lately you should get them in to see your doctor as soon as you can so that they can get checked out and you can be assured that nothing more serious is wrong with their health.
