I got married 10years ago and simultaneously we were both were very happy. Both of us worked independently in different business and we could meet up only on the weekend because the entire week we had to follow a hectic schedule. When I could get the leave from my firm on Saturday and he would get a leave on Tuesday. So it was totally impossible for us to get along with each other every day and so we could only meet on every Sunday very easily. Sometimes we could not even meet for the whole week also because we would come late from our particular profession and then we are so exhausted that we would barely have any resistance. So this was our daily program . Yet we were peaceful that we were pleased in our work as well as our routine. But slowly but surely I realized that my husband’s attitude was changing towards me. He was trying to keep away from me and that he was not enjoying my companionship even during the weekends. I was not aware of the exact cause behind his changed attitude though I was very hurt with his changed attitude and wanted to trace the genuine intention.
These days we are equipped with so many innovative gadgets which help us to collect and capture all the possible information of many such occurrences which happen in our life. There are several pioneering hidden cameras and spy cameras which we can use to gather all the information with accuracy along with proof . So I also decided that I will track my husband’s changed attitude and tackle him evidently. I logged on to the famous website of the cameras and there I got to know about several hidden cameras but I liked the Color by Day & B/W at Night Miniature Pinhole Lens Camera - PE-CAM301 very much because it was not only efficient but also affordable. What are the Symptoms of Mortons Neuroma?
A neuroma is characterized by a non-cancerous swelling of nerve tissue that has the potential to grow in any part of the body. Mortons Neuroma is caused by compression to the nerve found between the third and fourth metatarsal bones in the foot, triggering thickening of this nerve tissue. As the nerve is compressed, symptoms such as numbness and tingling of the toes begin to occur. These symptoms are more pronounced when there is weight placed on the front of the foot, producing a noticeable amount of pain.
What Causes Mortons Neuroma?
Causes of Mortons Neuroma are not 100% clear, but anything that places abnormal pressure on this nerve can lead to the thickening of this tissue. Mortons Neuroma can be caused by wearing high heeled shoes that constrict the toes. Also, being flat-footed can cause the metatarsals to lower, which creates pressure on this nerve. Thickening of this tissue can also be caused by irritation to the nerve or injury.
A Common Cause of Ball Of Foot Pain
Metatarsalgia is another foot condition that presents itself as pain in the this area. This problem often happens to women who wear high-heeled shoes, or people who wear shoes with no cushion or arch support. When the structure of the foot is weakened, it causes the bones of the foot to drop. We can experience pain when we wear shoes that do not provide the proper support and cushion. Also, people that suffer from over-pronation can experience ball of foot pain in the ball of their feet. A condition called over-pronation occurs when the ankles tend to roll inward and can lead to arch pain.
Diagnosis and Treatments for Mortons Neuroma
To properly treat this condition, one must get a proper diagnosis. A podiatrist will tend to examine the foot by pressing on the area of pain, squeezing the toes and pressing into the gap between the third and fourth toes. In some cases, he or she may be able to feel the neuroma. The doctor may also try pushing on the painful area and squeezing the entire foot at the same time to elicit a clicking noise, which is called Mulder’s sign. If the doctor cannot determine the presence of a neuroma, he or she can employ other techniques such as an x-ray to discount the possibility of any broken bones. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows doctors to clearly notice a neuroma.
Treatments for Morton’s Neuroma can consist of anything, from resting the foot to surgery. In many cases the doctor will try the most conservative treatments first. These include resting the feet, wearing more comfortable shoes and trying arch support insoles to improve arch support. Orthotic shoe inserts also help distribute your weight more evenly over the entire foot, relieving the pressure on the ball of the foot. In many cases the combination of these conservative treatments does provide relief from the pain that you may be experiencing. In severe cases, where these options are not helpful, your doctor may prescribe injections to attempt to reduce the size of the neuroma. In extreme situations, surgery may be the only feasible option.
Our foot care is an extremely important factor in our overall health and well-being. If you are suffering from intense pain in your feet, it is best to have a doctor examine your feet as soon as possible in order to determine the cause.
