The wrong autoresponder email marketing can collapse your business

The wrong autoresponder email marketing can collapse your business, not build it.

A lot has been said about email marketing as an excellent tool for web marketing but few have been said about its pitfalls. If you plan to use auto responders as a booster for your online sales effort, you should pay particular attention to how your information is delivered to the readers. Basically, you should be concerned about the format in which the information is carried over.

In this article, we try to look at some of the much overlooked points that are a recipe for an email marketing campaign disaster.

Text format

When it comes to text on the internet, there are principally two main types that you can use in your email auto responders as part of your email marketing plain text like the one we see in notepad and html, the commonly used format on the web. Plain text normally contains no formatting but html text has formatting, variable background and can contain graphics.

Now let’s look at the reasons behind your choosing one or the other.

If you are reaching a simple readership without the need for extensive formatting and illustrations in your materials, then the best way to go is plain text for your email marketing. This style of text is easy to read ( as it has a white background) and loads easily because there are no graphics.

However, if you need to put links in your email marketing auto responders that readers will click on, then a problem emerges. People usually associate long links with affiliates. Even if you own the product being offered for sale, many people will shrug at the idea of clicking on a link because they know you are trying to hide behind an ezine or article to sell them a product.

Selling Tips From A Real Estate Pro - Get Maxium Value For Your Home

Before each showing of your home to potential buyers, it is important to make a good first impression. Be sure your front entry has a sparkling door knocker and door knobs, and that front door and porch are clean and free of clutter.

Once inside your home should smell inviting so bake the quick and easy break and bake cookies or brownies, or put a drop of vanilla on the top of a light bulb for a welcome aroma. You can make the home seem more inviting by installing higher wattage light bulbs and opening all the window treatments to let the light flood your home.

Buyers want to visualize themselves and their lifestyle in their new home, so to make your house more neutral, please distance yourself emotionally. This means putting away all family photos, awards, etc that are specific to your family. Also removing excess clutter by renting a storage unit or having a garage sale will make your home appear larger and more inviting.

You may want to host an open house while you still have furniture in your home, so buyers can visualize furniture placement with the layout and space available. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to disclose any past or potential issues that may effect the value and continued desirability of your advertised property. Real estate law varies from state to state, and some require you to reveal everything from a leak in the faucet to a neighbor who may be a nuisance. Be sure you are aware of the disclosure laws for your area.

As an additional incentive to attract an offer on your home, you might consider offering a one-year warranty to the new buyer. This often gives them the peace of mind to proceed with buying your home. When a potential buyer starts looking for a property, they look online first. A recent survey shows that 82% start with an internet search, due to the comfort and convenience. Only 12 % find the home of their dreams in a newspaper ad. It is important to let people know your home is for sale!

Many buyers prefer a video tour or virtual tour to eliminate the homes that won’t fit their needs, and to save their valuable time. Don’t appear too anxious or a potential buyer may think they can get a steal! Did you know surveys taken by the National Association of Realtors prove that most buyers seek out a for sale by owner when they are looking for a bargain, and automatically offer 10 percent under the seller’s asking price? Don’t offer too much information about your needs and plans- a buyer could use that information to justify a low offer.

A good marketing plan is essential to selling your home. Find a dedicated professional in Real Estate that knows how to stage your home to sell. Better agents offer advice on furniture placement and redesign of your home to maximize the chances of a quick and profitable sale. With each inquiry on your home, your chance of selling it soon increases.

Are You Really Going Bald?

If you feel as if your hair is falling out more than it should when you wash or comb it then you will probably started searching for ways on how to prevent hair loss, however before you panic about going bald lets look at some facts first.

You may or may not know this, but your scalp is always in a state where that ninety percent of your hair is growing and ten percent of it is resting, this is important to know as when the hair is resting this is when it falls out and this can be in excess of a hundred hairs at a time. So if you see a lot of hair in the plug hole or on your comb, then do not panic too much.

Of course if you feel as if you are losing more than 150 strands a time then quite rightly you may assume you are going bald – but before you get too down about it, just stop a moment and think about what is going on in your life, and check that if you are a woman that you are not going through any hormonal change such as being pregnant - or for either sex are you going through an experience that is causing high levels of stress. If the answer to these questions is yes then your hair loss may be temporary.

Of course there is the possibility that you may actually be going bald this could be down to the fact that your body s producing a high level of DHT and your scalp is sensitive to it. DHT is the male sex hormone and when someone has a scalp that is sensitive to this hormone where it is sensitive is where the hair starts to fall out. Medical treatments are available for baldness caused by this but they are either expensive and painful in the form of transplants or involve taking drugs which may have side effects on a mans sexual ability so I am not going to cover those options here.

However if you think you may be going bald then the following tips maybe of help to you:-

  • Include foods rich in iron and omega 3 in your diet, as this is believed to slow down the effect of hair loss. Also Iron is good for combating hair loss too as it increases hemoglobin, which in turn will help carry more oxygen to the scalp.
  • Check your diet. Hair loss can be associated with a poor diet (and also stress). Make sure you are getting plenty of vitamins and minerals in your diet and try and get your 5 a day in fruit and veg. If you cannot manage the 5 a day then take a good quality supplement.
  • Combat DHT which is one of the main culprits behind hair loss by drinking good quality green tea. 3-4 cups a day should do the trick, but if you do not like green tea as a drink, then this too is now available as a supplement

losing your hair can certainly effect you on an emotional level as there is no doubting it can effect confidence and self esteem. But don’t give up and just accept it as fact as there are lots of tips and remedies for thicker hair are out there and they may just work for you.
