Banquet Themes: Bringing Your Banquet Together With The Proper Theme
A banquet is something that has a purpose behind it’s occurring. Whether it’s a wedding reception, a prom, a work related celebration, a retirement or some other purpose, you’re creating a special night for a special purpose. To added more because the the night to be a success and for your guests to have a great time, tying everything together with a theme is the best way to make the decorations and the presentations all work toward this goal.
Although you may be limited due to the type of event, you can get creative with the theme and style of the party. If you are looking for a theme or mood for a particular evening that you are entertaining use the seasons as your guide. It is very interesting to know about the While a banquet in December will almost always suggest a winter or Christmas theme, one in the early summer may have you leaning toward vacation or beach type of imagery and decorations.
It’s often a good move to put together a theme committee to take ideas and think though what would be a good theme that fits the purpose of the banquet and creates the right mood. If it’s a celebration such as a prom or a seasonal party, you have a lot of leverage for a theme. But even in the case of a wedding reception or a company annual Christmas party where you have the purpose of the banquet to keep in mind, you can create a theme around a color scheme or something related to the event that can inspire a lot of creative ideas in your committee.
Brainstorming in a committee has its advantage, that is, you benefit from the different talents of the group. You have the practical minded people on the team who know what you can and cannot get away with thematically and what you can and cannot afford from a budget perspective. And if you have on the same committee the creative people who know how to dream up wonderful banquet themes to make the banquet magical, you can eventually arrive at a theme that’s both fun and exciting and realistic as well.
Once you decide on a banquet theme for your banquet, you can get everyone working on that specific theme. Once your theme is chosen, smaller committees can handle the details for you. If everyone sticks to the plan, your banquet will be recalled by all of the guests as a wonderful experience. Be sure to also read about Wedding Ideas

Being of sound mind and body, I hope! I dared to purchase a mobile phone for my 12 year old. I know…but at least this way, I can keep tabs on him for a bit. At least that is my intention. Needless to say, Cell Phone Insurance will be a necessity. Gregory has not always been the most responsible of sons.
The astounding joy, he displayed, when I presented this gift to him was very satisfying. The first rule, however, and the reason for getting the phone to begin with, was for him to let me, or his father know, where he was going and with whom he was going with. Being a pre-teen was a difficult year and the beginning of showing his independents.
No, mom, I don’t want to go to the mall with you. I am going with my friends. Mom, no one hangs out with their parents and so on and so forth. Difficult…for whom? Me the Parent or my child? So a new era begins. Constant worry! Whatever, in heavens name, made me want to be a parent?
I did not purchase mobile phone insurance for Gregory’s phone with the same company I have our mobile’s phones from. They have the best and most complete coverage and are the least expensive, but they are not competitive on insurance. The other companies I had looked into were much more expensive and the cover was inadequate, so I chose Supercover Mobile Insurance UK
For several weeks things seemed to be okay. Gregory displayed a hereto unknown ability towards responsibility and still had his phone.
Oops, spoke to soon, Gregory came through the front door and it seems he sheepishly walked towards me. I think I could have read his mind, for I immediately knew something was wrong and it had to do with his mobile phone.
They had stopped at the food mart, in the shopping centre and Gregory had lent the phone to his friend to make a call. Unfortunately, when they left the mall, his friend left the phone on the table. When they went back to get, it was gone. Someone had taken it.
I immediately called the cell Phone Insurance cover company and put in a claim. I told them what had happened. The agent assured me that everything would be taken care of and not to worry. It was in less than 48 hours. Old account cancelled and new phone on the way. Not only are they the least expensive, the claim was taken care of hassle free.
